S.D. Christ Centre does not stop at its own gates. The charity outreach programme extends care into the surrounding community reaching the families most at risk of losing their children to poverty before it happens. Every month, 10 vulnerable families receive food support, school fees assistance, and access to skills training. The goal is prevention: support a family at the point of crisis and a child never has to become an orphan.
Monthly Food Support
Regular food provision to 10 vulnerable families in the surrounding community each month.
School Fees
School fees covered for children in struggling families who cannot keep their children in education.
Skills Training
Tailoring, hairdressing, farming, poultry, catering, and computer literacy for family members.
Family Preservation
Support families at the point of crisis stopping children from becoming orphans before it happens.
HIV/AIDS Awareness
Community education and support for affected families. Stigma reduction and care networks.
Faith & Community
Prayer ministry and church partnerships extending care beyond the Centre’s walls.
