About Steven
Steven is a 16-year-old student pursuing a course in Welding and Metal Fabrication at a vocational school through S.D Christ Centre in Kyotera, Nabigasa S/C, Uganda.
After the passing of his single mother, Steven and his younger brother faced significant challenges. Their grandparents, who took them after the death of their mother, were unable to provide for their basic needs and education.
In that difficult time, S.D Christ Centre stepped in to provide care, stability, and hope. Steven was enrolled in a vocational school to learn welding, and his younger brother was enrolled in primary school.
Steven is a respectful, responsible, and hardworking young man. His instructors describe him as disciplined, focused, and committed to learn. He dreams of becoming a Certified Welder and Workshop Owner so he can provide for his family and create opportunities for others in his community.
Steven’s Need
To complete his TVET – Technical and Vocational Education and Training, Steven needs sponsorship support.
Your support will help him finish his welding course and acquire the tools needed to start a small workshop and achieve self-reliance.

About His Brother
Steven’s younger brother is 7 years old and currently in Grade 2 at S.D Christ Centre
He is a cheerful, curious, and well-mannered pupil. He enjoys reading, drawing, and playing with friends. At S.D Christ Centre, he receives meals, school supplies, uniforms, and the care he needs to focus on his studies.
His dream is to complete primary school and continue to secondary school.
